I'm guessing we're about the same Zone 5B or so. Pinellia pedatisecta
thrives for me here, but never where I plant it. I 've set out a number
during the summer, they bloom and seed around, may come back the next yea=r,
and then they're gone without a trace. The self sown seedlings are anothe=r
story, however. They settle in wherever they're happy, and come back year
after year.

My advice is to leave most of yours outside, and scatter some seeds aroun=d
in protected spots. Bring a couple inside for the winter, but not til aft=er
frost kills back the foliage. Don't water them while they're dormant.

Attention other pinellia fans: I'll be sending a batch of P. cordata
bulbils into the AEG seedex this year. This is the large leafed form that
has been discussed here from time to time.
