Hi all,

I sent this message yesterday but it seems to have disappeared in
cyberspace.  My apologies to those who have already seen it.

5 years after buying 5 Biarum davisii from Jacques Amand I finally have t=wo
flowers.  Thew are quite different in their markings, one being spotted a=s
expected, the other without spots.  Both are quite beautiful but not
entirely like the pictures in Martin and Rix or the other pics on the net.
Both the spathe and spadix are much longer.  Any comments please.  They a=re
growing in a shady position - could this affect spathe/spadix length?
