Have you tried a styrofoam cooler when late frosts are predicted? A.
ringens gets zapped regularly, and its only hope is an ice chest with a
rock on top. A. sikokianum is gorgeous now, and believe me, if we had a
late frost predicted I would practically be out there holding hands with
it. The styrofoam coolers come in pretty tall sizes. I would make one wit=h
styrofoam and duct tape if I needed a taller one. Of course, last year I
protected ringens every time they predicted a freeze, and didn't the nigh=t
it really froze....... Nancy
