AEGers-

I seem to remember that while browsing the library while in college
there was a book on Arisaema by Pradhan. Is this the same as the paper
that you refer to? I do remember that it only covered the Arisaemas
native to the Himalayas. I would love to see a monograph of the genus
like the one done for Arum a couple of years ago by the RHS.
As for my seeds they got planted a little late. A house fire put =a
delay on the seed starting this year. All my tubers/seeds made it
through, the kitchen was another story. I potted up some of the Kaichen
tubers since they started growing. Right now the Arisaema saxatile are
blooming and are absolutely beautiful. Don't worry I took pictures and
will scan/send them to the appropriate persons when I get them back. It
is quite an elegant little species with a pristine white spathe and a
long green spadidx.
Currently in the greenhouse where I work we are growing a Zantede=schia
that is quite amazing. It has spotted leaves and white flowers that are
easily 10" across. Does anyone know what species this is? I am going to
try to key it out tomorrow (thanks for the key george) I think I saw a
photo on a website that called it 'Hercules'.

Sincerely

Marc
