Overwintering in containers

If plants, corms, etc., arrive too late in the fall and planting out is not
an option, over-wintering with containers submerged in Turface for two inches
or so can be successful. Water the container lightly with a fungicide and
then water only the Turface--no more water into the container. The Turface
should not have standing water--just be wet.
