Hi Jim:

Neither have I.

This is, I guess, why some people are curious about this plant. No photos,
because it has never bloomed. I have had it in pots for over five years and
this is the first season I have had it in the garden. The leaf shape and
rhizome suggest that it is an A. italicum species, but until it blooms, I
won't have a positive ID.

It was one of these catalogue clearing house type things. There was a
picture of a spathe that (what I know now) clearly resembles an italicum
spathe of some kind, except it had spots. If the things survive the winter
(and the leaves were green and upright through the snow up until the end of
December) and blooms this spring, I am going to take photos and send them
off to be identified.

Kind Regards,

Rand
