Gentlemen:
I hope you don't think I have intentionally been silent on Arisaema-L
regarding the tropical arisaema photos, but the fact is I still can't post
to the list. Eric is working on it, but the mail list gremlins are still at
work.
Anyway, I'd be glad to scan whatever Wilbert has, post it on the Arisaema
Page, and let anyone else post the same on their pages. I'm easy. If Craig
wants to subsequently borrow the pictures and make copies of them for his
talk, I'd be glad to forward them to him if Wilbert agrees. Besides, the
postage is cheaper to Canada :-)
As for someone's comment that they really should go on the IAS page, I'd
beg to disagree. The real problem with visibility of arisaemas on the IAS
page is the way they have their links set up, which is really obscure. It's
a hecl of a lot easier to find your way around on Paul's page, or Eric's.
Perhaps someone in the AEG could encourage them to rearrange things a bit.
As it is, it's even hard to find out where the good amorphophallus stuff
is, much less arisaemas. I think I'll leave the request up to someone more
diplomatic and disinterested than myself. Craig, maybe?
Anyway, here's hoping you all can agree where Wilbert's photo's should go
(does silence imply consent?). I'm ready and willing.
