Pollination timing in Arisaema

Hi All,

OK a few quick questions..

For what length of period do female Arisaema flowers remain receptive? And
when do you start counting?

I have some open now....the pseudo Arisaema griffithii appear to be
Arisaema yunnanense (does it have a distal appendage extension of the
spadix that can be up to 24 inches long and trailing across the ground?)
The first leaf (and only one so far) is tripartite, looking quite rugose.
The first two to open are a pair with the female having opened first.

Also has anyone had any experience in storage (from days, weeks, or till
the following growing season) of Ariseaema pollen? Dry and frozen for
long-term like many other genera?

Best Regards,

Scott
