Arisaema of the Week

Believe it or not, I finally got Wilbert Hetterscheid's photos scanned, all
60 of them. I'll be posting one species per week to the Arisaema Page, and
there are a total of 12 species/types. I'm starting out in alphabetical
order; if anyone would like to see one before the others, let me know.

The arisaemas in question are:

Arisaema anomalum, from West Malaysia
Arisaema consanguineum, from Hong Kong
Arisaema consanguineum, from Mt. Omei (Sichuan)
Arisaema franchetianum
Arisaema (griffithii) cf. verrucosum
Arisaema limbatum
Arisaema roxburghii, from West Malaysia
Arisaema thunbergii var. thunbergii
Arisaema thunbergii var. urashima
Arisaema tortuosum
Arisaema cf. translucens from India
Arisaema yunnanense

A. anomalum is up today. Bet you've never seen red candy striped stamens
(or whatever those little knobs are on the male spadix).

The Arisaema Page continues to be located at:

Look for the link to The Hetterscheid Collection at the bottom. I'll be
adding links to his pictures from the other sections, too.

I also tried to correct the amurense/ovale confusion in the species list.
Ray: please check to see if I got it right.
