A. franchetianum

I had three flowering plants of A. franchetianum this year, two female and
one male. I did the pollinating bit with the water and syringe, a la Don
Jacobs, and one of the females seems to be pregnant.

However, the developing berries, instead of being the usual "arisaema green"
are a reddish-brown color. I've not had seeds from this species before and am
wondering if this is normal for it. I realize that it's still too early to be
sure that this isn't a "false pregnancy", but when that happens with other
species, the infertile berries are still usually green.

Comments, please?
