I agree. In my part of North America, Hollyhocks, are well known to
contract rust. A few other plants also. A. triphyllum, in my experience
(Over 20 years with this) seems to be immune to rust, however, I have heard
(on this list) that
A. sikokianum can fall prey to rust.
