Kristl, In the Vermont section of zone 4, I have been growing (from seed)
quite a few species of Arisaema in bulb pans; and what works best for me is
to simply let the plants dry up in their pans, which I then stack in a dry
frost-free location for the winter. I have stored them at room temperature,
in the veggie drawer of the refrigerator, and in a barely heated storage
room (which froze once last winter with no ill effects)--all with equal
success. Come Spring, I dump out the soil, sort out the tuberettes, and
replant in new pans, spacing them further apart, with fresh soil. It takes
a few years longer to flower tha reorted by some others, but then I have
been content to give them a single cycle a year. I am sure I could be
moving them along faster, but hey, Life moves along, and I tend a lot of
plants as it is....
