That's a good question!   The Fade transition was added to PDF in PDF 1.5, long after the page transition code in Ipe was written, so it is not yet available in Ipe - but could be easily added.

Does anybody actually use these page transitions?   For a long time, no PDF viewer except for Acrobat Reader would show them at all, has this changed?
