Nice workaround!

Probably I used it but I couldn't remember it (then I was younger and 
smarter... 🙂 ).

Maybe it could be a good idea to advice it better (I looked in the FAQ 
and also at the example you pointed at, but I didn't realize at first 
glance it was what I was looking for), because complex constructions 
with compass and ruler are impossible without it.

Even better would be to implement it, but I guess from what you said 
that this is no easy task.
