Maybe I should rephrase this question. Does inclusion of jpeg images work for 
anybody?

Or am I the only one with the problem. I just recompiled Ipe pre25 without the 
minor bug-fixes. The result was the same. So I'm puzzled if I'm alone with the 
problem.
I tried the qt-4 demo, and it can show jpg images, so I doubt qt is the fault.
