[Ipe-discuss] Geometric constraints literature

Suppose that Ipe were to be modified such that the diagram edited is
maintained interactively when the user manipulates some feature point
(either one that is user-defined or one implicit in the diagram -- an
intersection point, say).

Could you suggest some starting points in the literature for this task?
Is there a subdiscipline of, perhaps, visualization that caters for
geometric constraint satisfaction in particular?

Juno-2 has abilities along those lines, but it takes (me) a long time
to get a simple diagram right and I find that by comparison it is faster
to use multiple iterations with Ipe. Can you provide other pointers?
