 Eric    Thanks for your work over decades for  the AEG  I managed the Seed exchange for 4 years from my home, so I know the work involved.. It was huge at that time and I mailed out hundreds of packets. Keith Laroque was a constant help during these distributions.  I am attempting to order from https://arisaema-l.nl/seedlist/SeedList.php?hide which you say is open now, but I cannot place an actual order. Please advise.

Dear AEG members,

Due limited time, I forgot to ask for seeds for the seed exchange last 
year and nobody asked questions, so I think the interest in the seed 
exchange has dropped (which was already the case the last few years).

We have still some seeds (20 numbers, 11 taxa) from last year seed 
exchange, I could offer these if there is any interest in them. I can 
open that up right now.

That will be my last activity in the AEG, because I will retire this 
year from the University, which means that this email list (235 members) 
will be closed before the end of the year (interest in the list has 
dropped too, probably because of Facebook) and I will no longer 
host/manage the website https://arisaema-l.nl/ (if there is any member 
who want to take over, let me know).

I know there is more activity on Facebook (not official AEG), but I'm 
not involved in that.

AEG started with Ray Stilwell more than 30 years ago (we will remember 
him!) and we managed the group together for many years until Ray got too 
old. Email communication and website was hosted by the Botanic Garden, 
first at Surflist and later this mailman list at the UU. Also the AEG 
website was hosted at the BG for many years, but for several years it is 
on a separate server, with our own domain arisaema-l.nl. All good things 
will come to an end and I'm afraid that will be the same for this group.
