Dear AEG members, I have had a great germination rate on my Arisaema seed this Spring. I have a tray of 4” pots with many seedlings. My question involves post germination care. With several seedlings in each pot , should I prick out the seedings to 1 per pot or leave them together in the pot & allow them grow & die back in the germination pots. After dying back later this summer, should I remove the tiny tubers & store in a cool dry place through the winter or should I find the tubers , place in a ziplock bag with a bit of damp peat moss & put in the fridge until next Spring. I have managed to lose seedlings in the past due to improper post germination care. Any advice would be appreciated…Thank you.
Hoping that all have had a safe year & that we can move on to a year of great gardening. Best regards to all…
