Bjorn: Yes, I also got an A-01 that turned out to be yunnanense. I am still
looking for a plant (or seed) of A. bathycoleum.
Thanks.

Well, Chen Yi is at least more or less consistent in her wrong naming. I had
Arisaema yunnanense coming up from A-01 ("Arisaema bathycoleum") as well as
A-41 ("Arisaema intermedium" - which does not appear in China).

Chis: Thanks- I have what has been IDd as Pinellia tripartita in the garden
which reseeds every year and is a little bit invasive- I have to weed it out
in some places where it germinates. This one obviously is not behaving like
that at all. Are these 2 pinellias from different environments?
Was there not a cross reference to Chen Yi plants with correct IDs
somewhere in the AEG records? If it is still there, not sure how to access
it.

If memory serves me correctly, this in the past has proven to be Pinellia
pedatisecta, hate to tell you this. You'll know when it blooms

Back when I used to get plants from Chen Yi, I got one of A-41, called
Arisaema intermedium. Of course, we all know that Chen Yi stuff is more
often than not incorrectly identified. Plant is up as an immature looking 3
leafed plant maybe 8 inches high now. I planted it in 2008 and it came up
also in June 2010. It does not come up every year evidently.
Anybody have a good ID on Chen Yi A-41?
