Thanks Kevin for sharing this information.  I had assumed that griffithii was like many of my Amorphophallus and demanded a dry winter.  I grow several Amorphs and Arisaema in pots and just put them under the carport for the winter so they have a bone dry winter rest.  They tolerate our freezing winter nights just fine and emerge from dormancy in May, which is almost the beginning of summer.

This gives me hope and maybe I’ll try them again in the garden
