they ship overseas

Shipping methods
Within Canada, we ship by mail (usually Priority Post) unless you request a courier. To points outside Canada, we ship by airmail or
courier, mindful of saving you money but putting plant survival first. If you want us to use a particular shipper, tell us. Some couriers no
longer accept live plants.
Shipping charges
We ship at cost, plus a $5 packing charge. To save weight, we ship many plants in bags, not pots, with some potting medium gently
removed.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
You require a phytosanitary certificate to import plants and bulbs from Canada. We arrange this at cost, currently C$17.00. To import
orchids, you require a CITES certificate. We can arrange this; costs vary.
If you have special requirements, please tell us. You are responsible for knowing your country's import regulations. For example:
 Do you require an import permit ? If so, please send us a copy in time to enclose with the phyto certificate when we ship.
 Must plants be bare-root (roots washed clean)? We provide this service at an additional charge of 20%.
 Must plants be dormant?
 Are some species forbidden entry to your country or region?
Customers in the European Union, Japan and Taiwan: Your countries require our plants to be both dormant and bare-root. We
cannot ship plants that retain their leaves in dormancy, even if they are trimmed back (example: Heuchera micrantha).
