Forgot to mention, coming up in July or so, a nice form of consanguineum and the silver-centered leaf one both from Ellen Hornig and DJHC009 from Heronswood (rip) with beautiful long leaf drip-tips.Triphyllum are just coming up and yesterday I saw a few early ones at Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in Pennsylvania.A very robust pale and silvercentered leaf serratum is up, and a very dark japanese serratum has reappeared after several years. Ringens, like Bletilla striata here in my compost amended sand and pebble mix on top of a relict glacial dune, needs to have a single tuber divided into a dozen or so after three years. Iyoanum, ternatipartium, and kishidae have disappeared. I think its the occasional week or two of very wet weather we get in both winter and summer. Even some stems in the consanguineum patches rot and collapse at the base.Sauromatum venosum, Amorphophallus konjac and Pinellia pedatisecta have to be weeded out.Bonaventure in NJ
