I'm in Maine away from my garden currently=2C but I'll post pictures of=the=
back of the spathe when I'm back. It's prominently ribbed and the unders=id=
es of the leaflets are lucid green.
It's possible that it's an intergrade with ssp./var. triphyllum=3B They=gro=
w intermingled throughout the area=2C and the recurve on the mouth is r=athe=
r broad=2C but it's tricky. There's populations of stewardsonii here wi=th n=
o apparent ssp./var. triphyllum about that bear similar interior limb pat=te=
rns.
I'm of the opinion that it's at least 1/2 a stewardsonii :)
p.s. I just got pictures today of a wild triphyllum here in Maine with =tw=
o spathes facing eachother & a double spadix turned into wide undulating =co=
ckscombs. The leaf had 5 leaflets. The whole thing was horrifying (and de=li=
ghtful).

ne". I've never seen one that wasn't green. The diagnostic feature of ste=wa=
rdsonii is the back and top of the spathe=2C where the white striping i=s di=
stinctly raised. This plant could be ssp. pusillum=2C depending on the =size=
. My guess is a form of the species.
