In checking the old archives, I entered apomixis and was directed to a
long list of ancient and modern postings.

One that might be of interest is from Roy Herold about hybridization.
A few weeks ago I posted some photos of the very hybrids grown from
Roy's seeds, which some of you might find interesting:
