Michael?  There are a number of smaller Japanese arisaemas, judging from
Gusman's text.  And I would add A.  amurense, which is rarely higher than
15" here.

You should know that I grow none of these  in pots except maybe to carry
them over from one year to the next to ready them for outdoors in the

Actually, Arisaemas are in fruit now - at least here. Last week I collect=ed
seed
of A. limbatum from the hills south of Tokyo, and this Tuesday a friend a=nd
I
went out to the Boso Peninsula (Chiba Pref.) and grabbed the last few
remaining
berries from a few A. aequinoctiale plants. A. undulatifolium in Izu shou=ld
ripen
soon too.

Thanks for the tip on small plants. A. flavum was on my list, but I hadn'=t
considered A. propinquum. I will now.
