Erick.  If you can't grow propinquum--in your area, I'd say you need to =
improve your drainage.  Mine has grown here  (USDA 5a)  in clayey loam =
for about 3 years now.  (fingers crossed)

A. propinquum, at least the ones I've grown, stay relatively small.
I cannot reliably grow them out-of-doors though.  Till recently, Ellen
was selling a nice small amurense clone & some diminutive flavum;
seed from these will get around eventually.
