Al--  If you try sikokianum again, try giving  it more sun and better
drainage.  Mine have been around now for 5 years. They get about 6 hours of
morning winter sun.    They don't increase, but they haven't died, I don't
think in USDA Z 5a.  The sikotak hybrid gets about 2 hours more and more
direct sun--less broken up.  It's now 4 years old and is emerging about 4"
from the ground.  Soil is a clayey loam.
