The arisaemas you grow are mostly those that I overwinter and grow =outdoors here. With the exception of griffithii which I cannot keep =alive, nor flavum and urashima. I also grow Sikotak (a stately Don =Jacobs hybrid), and takedae (also from him) . I am currently trying =some seedlings of what appears to be a larger consanguineum type from =one of our members who was generous with me. No mulch, and most came =through -15=B0 F last winter.

I have overwintered the following outside for at least several years =in southwestern Wisconsin USA. The overnight temps can drop to -20F for =a few days each winter. We don't have reliable snow cover but usually =have at least several inches when temps get that low.

amurense

fargesii

consanguineum

candidissimum

flavum ssp abbreviatum

griffithii

sikokianum

serratum

thunbergii ssp urashima

heterophylum

and of course the native triphyllum and dracontium

The past few winters have been milder than normal so I don't know what =will happen when a typical zone 4 winter comes again. I usually spread =several inches of mulch over the areas where arisaema are planted.

I have had limited seed production so far. I think that's because I =don't have a mix of male and female plants for some of the species yet. =Some of these, especially fargesii and candidissimum, appear in late =June/early July and any seed heads don't ripen outside before freezing =temperatures arrive.

Zone 4/5 depending on how badly I want an item!
