I live just outside Ottawa and we have a very similiar climate. I agree w=it=
h you about the snow cover. When I lose anything on the edge of hardiness=i=
t seems to be a weak snow cover issue. You know they would be in an area =wi=
th less snow or there is a melt than cold temperatures follow.
