I get around most of these cultivation problems by growing my Arisaemas
mainly in pots, overwintered in an unheated greenhouse (mainly to avoid
excess winter wet). I have lousy soil: a clogging nutrient poor silt, and=a
small garden: most Arisaemas flower briefly, so they are rotated regularl=y.
A huge pot of A jacquemontii in full bloom by the front door is a stunnin=g
sight. One or two photos on my website.
