Hi Bonaventure Magrys,

This Arisaema is spectacular ! Does it spread by stolons or small =
bulblets
un the upper surface of the tuber ? In the first case I=92d say it migh=t =
be a
form of ciliatum (I have a large form of ciliatum that started making =
two
leaves as the plants matured), but I=92m a bit unsure as the flower sit=s =
above
the leaves. I formosanum an option? I don=92t grow this one so can=92=t =
do much
more than drop the name.

All I can say is that it would be a good plan to try to propagate this
beautiful one =96 I=92d surely be interested !

Hi everyone,

One spectacular success in this season of no sun here for two weeks and=
nearly daily rain in central coastal New Jersey has been this Arisaema.=
Originally received as A-55, Arisaema flavum, from Kaichen last winter, =
that
it
definitely is not. It has leaflets like a consanguinium and the camera
really
brings out the silver stripe in each leaflet center, not as apparant in
normal
veiw. However it has 2 leaf stalks per stem joining about 10cm above =
ground
level and is very robust and has not rotted down as many of my
consanguineums and others. Notice the patterned stem. Any ideas?
