Hi Everyone=0A=0AThis is a=A0quick note to introduce myself as a ne=w member=
of AEG. My name is Nic and I live in Barnet, UK. I am 37, married, with =6-=
year old twins.=A0 We moved house last October to a new with garden tha=t ha=
d largely overgrown.=A0 After 3 months worth of evening and weekend cle=aran=
ce work we finally got all the weeds and ivy out and discovered, as expec=te=
d, that we had some sizeable stretches of bed that were a blank canvas.==A0 =
Several of these were very shady areas and as I searched for plants to su=it=
these areas I came across Arisaema.=A0 I was immediately attracted to =thes=
e,=A0due to=A0the beautiful stems as much as much as the flowers them=selves=
.=A0 After scouring the internet for more information and preparing the=gro=
und I went looking for plants and have found a couple of nurseries (one v=er=
y local, luckily).=A0 I now have 14 plants of which 13 are different va=riet=
ies.=A0 These are in various stages of maturity and are currently in va=riou=
s stages of
growth.=A0 All are doing well and I remain fascinated with them.=0A==A0=0AT=
hank you for accepting a "first year novice" into your ranks.=A0 I hope=to =
learn a lot more from the articles on the AEG website, and hope to be abl=e =
to put something back in via seed donations in due course!=0A=A0=0A=Regards=
