Hi Yoichi and welcome to the Arisaema Group! I am kind of electrified to
read that you are or at least have been interested also in the genus Asar=um.
Japan is rich in many beautiful species of this genus hardly obtainable h=ere
in Europe. So I would like to ask you if you are still cultivating Asarum=s
and if there would be a chance to exchange or buy plants. I live in Germa=ny
and could send you several species of Arisaema and other plants you might=be
interested in. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards,
Tilman

Hello, everybody!!
How are you?
Today, I will talk about myself.
My name is Yoich Sakakibara. I live in Chiba prefecture Japan.
I have cultivated Asarumu mainly in a greenhouse about 20 years.
I am recently interested in Arisaema.
However, I have cultivated popular species for a long time, for example
A.sikokianum and A. thunbergii subsp. urashima.
My favorite Arisaema is Section Anomala, Decipienta, Fimbriata and
Flagellarisaema. It is difficult for me to obtain such a kind of plant in
Japan. I
only grow now A. calareum, A. scortechinii and Japanese species.
In addition, I am interested also in a small Arisaema, because I am growi=ng
most plants with the pot.
My wife is one who grows plants, too. She is managing a small local
nursery.
Her main items are Cyclamen, Helleborus, Hepatica nobilis and wild Japane=se
plants. Her horticultural blog is here.

I am cultivating Arisaema ardently recently. I will visit my friend in
Taiwan this
year.

I am sorry for my poor writing skills in English.

That is all. Thank you for listening.
