hi Eric,

I think Pedatisecta hasn't different sex inflorescences,
in my experience I noticed that every flower may form seeds, the
first are ripening now, bigger than the seedpods
which develop later in the summer, from new spathes: each spathe has
up to 60/70 seeds.

The seeds ripened in July may germinate in two weeks after starting
the Deno_McClement's method and the
tuberlet are about 8/10 mm in late September.

A single mature tuber of 5 cm diameter is able to produce up to three
four stems and flowers, all of them with seeds,
the secondary buds are very quick in growing and flowering
independent from mothertuber, they are about 3 cm diameter
when digged in the fall.

The flowers should be selfpollinating as my first plant , years ago,
produced mature seedpods ,
from single spathes growing in different periods,
no flower was "empty".

May be I was lucky not leaving the plants to be invasive as I
harvested all the seedpods just after the stems began
bending down and changing colour to paler green-yellowish.
