Yes I have tried about three times but they only survive mild winters. =
This does not make any sense but they might have come from southern =
populations.
I have one now from a different source perhaps it is hardier.
Arisaema maximowiczii has survived about four years so perhaps it is =
also hardy here. The last winters have been unusually mild so the four =
years are not a proof of hardiness.
A serratum = japonicum from the forests north of Kyoto survibed about==
three winters. Kyoto has of course very much milder winters that I have.
Candidissimum from Ruksans has survived the last tree years but never =
before survived the second winter.

I hope you have tried A. triphyllum. I have seen populations in Zone 3 ==
here in Canada. If you have a problem getting seed from a northern =
source let me know. I have to be honest, they are smaller, but set seed. ==
They grow everywhere here so they are not what I look for. Although as =
many in the genus there is a lot of variation within. Take care.
