Hello Kathy,
I think it isn't the coward's way, but the more intelligent; but be =
careful with small young offsets, they aren't so hardy as mature ones
and need to be planted not so deep as bigger tubers.

rainy and cold Saturday spent cleaning and ordering the
tuberlets......and watching the flasks....:
I made an attempt to cultivate seven one-year bulbils of A.Flavum
abbreviatum, in sterile condition, in vitro flask with Agar growing
medium and light
and temperature 25C=B0 in the heated box where I grow my little
turtle Taestudo Graeca: well, even with 20 minutes of Chlorine 3%
soaking, some fungus did survive
and began developing from the buds and covered 5 of 7 tuberlets I
treated. Fungus were on the bulbils and came from my pots.
Now I'll try to identify that fungus and which remedy will kill it.
The same treatment with different seeds is working fine and no fungus =
is growing in those flasks.
