Hi Everyone.

Last winter/spring (2006) I bought some tubers from friends and Chen Yi. ==
When they arrived I potted them and waited for the weather to warm. =
Well, some sprouted and some didn't so I assumed they had rotted. As I =
was dumping out pots of soil last fall I found fat, healthy looking =
tubers where I had expected to find nothing. I've had terrible luck =
with pots so I planted everything in the ground. Some came up, some =
didn't. Of the ones that did nothing last spring, concinnum has already ==
finished flowering but tortuosum is just now above ground.

My question - has anyone else experienced this? Is it common for tubers ==
to sit out a growing season?
