Very long life  Nancy, since the lifetime has been described at 7/8
years.

My short experience with Siko:

in similar conditions the tubers can flower and grow ( and I got few
seeds last year ), while other tubers softened and disappeared,
this  in ground as in pots: no difference between clay and plastic
pots: of course with the same mix, and conditions.

With young tuberlets:  the pots I left outside near a pine are
showing very high rate of seedlings growing in this second cycle,
better than the tuberlets I digged and stored into the fridge and
repotted in March, but some of them are still sprouting...
