all that rain

Stefan,
Arisaema ringens is usually my first up in the garden. This year,
however, it is very smart in keeping its nose down. While we did warm up for
a nice preview of spring over the past two weeks we will be below freezing
for three nights as of last night. After ringens our native triphyllum is
usually next in line. It will not be long now before we all begin our annual
rite of spring... dancing around a spot where we transplanted tubers,
waiting anxiously to see if the rotted or will emerge.
