Self-fertility questions

That's a new word to me! It's in the unabridged dictionary, but has somethin=g 
to do with fiber counts. However, good old Google comes up with "a 
classification for cultivars derived from the same hybrid". Not quite the sa=me as what 
was being referred to, but I can hardly wait to try that one out on one of m=y 
friends.

As for the original question as to whether some Arisaema clones might be 
self-sterile, I don't have a clue. I see nothing in the Gusmans' book about =it, bu
t there's no question that it's present to some degree in a lot of genera, 
including trilliums and podophyllums, particularly the latter.
