Dear Arisaema-L members,

I'm very happy with the use of the FloraPix gallery by several members
in the past and I'm sure many more will follow their example.
There are in total over 1900 pictures added now (over 1100 for the
Temperate Gallery and about 800 for the Tropical Gallery, that started
later) and I have worked hard to make those pictures visible in Google
(search engine) picture search.

The Gallery itself is not static HTML (php) and that is why Google is
not finding all the pictures in the first place. At the moment all
subgalleries (directories) do have their own dynamic index now, for
example check http://florapix.nl/spgm-1.4.4/gal/Arisaema/C  that will be
found by the search engines like Google and can be used to have an
overview of a subgallery. I can see the effect in Google picture search
already.

To link all indexes together in two Gallery Site Map pages (Temparate
and Tropical ) including all the plant names (text links only), should
improve to find all the images in the Galleries.  I have added the links
to the Gallery Site Maps at http://floraPix.nl
