Steve, Gene, Michael,
The plants pictured at:
http://www.rareplants.de/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=6&CAT_ID=521&nu=mRecordPosition=1
are Dracunculus canariensis. This species is not cold hardy outside here=in
Raleigh, NC, USA
My plants of this species tend to have very light green spathes, instead =of pure
white.
For more pics of this species, see:
http://www.aroid.org/genera/dracunculus/canariensis/index.html
For pictures of the white flowering form of Dracunculus vulgaris, see:
http://www.aroid.org/genera/dracunculus/vulgaris/index.html#Dracunculus%2=0vulgaris
I was able to obtain some plants of this white flowering form, as well as=some
red
and white marbled forms in the past, and they are quite stunning!
The solid white flowering form can have either a dark maroon spadix or a =gold
spadix.
I hope to have some extra tubers of the white flowering form in a few yea=rs that
I can
offer to some nurseries for propagation.
Alan
