Arisaema required winter minimums?

Howdy All,

I'm intending to share some Arisaema with someone in a warmer climate
than me, and I am wondering what sort of absolute winter minimums
Arisaema require to grow and flower? Do they need to go below 0'c,
or 5'C in winter, or colder than both of those? My friend does not
get frost at his place, and I am not sure exactly what his winter
minimum would be, which is why I am asking what he would need to get
to grow them successfully? He doesn't want to go through having to
refridgerate tubers in winter (he has enough to look after already)
but would like to try them. I am thinking of sending him A.
candidissimum, consanguineum and amurense if they would be
suitable? Does anyone from non-frost climates have experience with
growing these Arisaema successfully? I realise that the tropical
species would grow for him most easily, but they aren't something I
tend to grow as I am cold enough to be problematic for them without
glasshouses etc here.

Thanks in anticipation of any information you can provide.

Cheers.
