Hi Susan and others,
-From my point of view the seedEx will be as in other years in spring
and the first seeds have already reached me (thanks Nina).
If we want to do this internationally, seeds has to enter and leave the
US and for the seeds that enters the US the 'Small lots' permit is
needed. In many countries (as in the Netherlands) it is not possible or
very expensive to get a phyto for seeds (to get them tested) and it does
not make sense any way (how do you see if the plant that will grow from
the seed is healthy? without first growing them).
The 'Small lots' policy makes it possible to send seeds to the US
members but prohibit to send all the seeds together to the US (max
number of seeds per species is limited and maximum number of species is
limited).
I will forfil the needs in accordance to the 'Small lots' permit (as a
packing list etc.) and it is up to you living in the US to get the
permit or take the risk to loose the seeds.
As far as I know, there were 9 US members that did not receive their
seeds, and I do not know if this is randomly or depend on the state you
are living in. I will attach the inventory.
