Very nice variegation, Jim. Thank for sharing a picture. Definitely
sectorial variegation. It cuts across the L1, L2 and L3 cell layers,
which is typical of sectorial chimeral variegations.

Not a typical viral infection, in my estimation,. Sectorial, such as
one sees in the common philodendron houseplant, and probably built in
to the germ plasm would be my guess. If it's not happy where you've got
it...transplant it? to better drainage.?, add some pea gravel?

That's really pretty...

Viral or mutation?

Well. since posting photos doesn't sem to be breaking the system,
check this one out.

It's been in the garden for three years, shows essentially the same
pattern each year, but is gradually fading away. Only one leaf this
year, and hasn't flowered since the first year here.

Jim
