Jim and Jeanne,

Plant Delights Nursery sold this variety a couple years back as
Arisaema concinnum Yellow spathe form. The Gaoligong refers to
Gaoligong W. Yunnan, along the Burmese border where this variety is
found...it says in Guys book. The plant does receive some strong
light, as it is near the front of the border very close to one of our
daylily beds...so it does get some strong sun off and on, probably
not 5-6 hours though, as it is in the front of a shade bed.

On a similar note, our biggest Arisaema dracontiums are in full sun,
and they are reaching probably 4 feet.
