I usually don't use any kind of synthetic fertilizer on anything, just =
lots
of compost, well-rotted manure, or liquid seaweed. Sometimes if I'm =
feeling
very energetic, I'll sprinkle alfalfa meal out in my beds. Call me a =
lazy
gardener... :) I think they would benefit from some fertilizer, they =
are a
flowering bulb and have to store enough energy to get through the winter
like any other bulb or perennial. Hopefully others on the list will be =
able
to give you a bit more info...
