We had had lobatum growing and flowering for the last five years.&nbsp; F=rom
our initial plantings, we lost a few the first year, but once the
others established, they have been fine.&nbsp; Planting in areas that are
dry in the summer seems to be the key for us.&nbsp; Now that I've posted
this, they will probably die to spite me.<br>

A lobatum</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Is anyone out there, particularly in the U.S. zone 6 or 7,
growing A. lobatum successfully?&nbsp; I had one from Chen Yi, purchased =as
something else, which grew beautifully for a couple of years.&nbsp; Large
trifoliate leaves, but the salmon and dark mottled pseudostem was the
most distinctive part of this plant.&nbsp; It was growing neat the south =</div>
