Is anyone out there, particularly in the U.S. zone 6 or 7, growing A. lob==
atum successfully? I had one from Chen Yi, purchased as something else, ==
which grew beautifully for a couple of years. Large trifoliate leaves, b==
ut the salmon and dark mottled pseudostem was the most distinctive part o==
f this plant. It was growing neat the south side of my NJ house. Howeve==
r, we had an EXTREMELY wet late winter early Spring last year, rotting th==
is plant at about the time of emergence (along with some other Arisaema) ==
and it is no more. (Ironically, this wet Spring was followed by an almos==
t summer-long drought). I will miss this one, and wonder if anyone here ==
has been more successful. Also I was curious if this species offsets (it==
did not for me, and hence I also never had seed set).
