I keep the tubers in a plastic pot filled with damp finely grinded peat
moss.
I keep the pots in my just frost free greenhouse, en covered with plastic
to prevent them from drying out .
The ideal temperature is around 2 - 8 C, most of the rot during storage i=s
caused by Fusarum and this fungus dos not grow below 10C.
I store my tropical tuber's like A. fimbriatum a few degrees warmer aroun=d
10 - 15 C. I keep these species in a plastic pot in the garage and the po=t
is also filled with damp finely grinded peat and
coved with plastic to prevent drying.
I keep all the Himalayan species wet during the growing period. In the
wild the growing period is during the monsoon and
they are constantly wet.
With best wishes,
Arno Clement
